ORIGINAL HAND-CUT silhouette papercut.
 
SIZE:
The size of the picture apperture is approximately 60mm x 60mm.
The outside of the mount is approximately 160mm x 180mm.
 
DETAILS:
This is an original silhouette papercut, not a print. A maximum of 250 papercuts will be produced of this design.
Each picture is individually hand-cut by myself (John Speight) using a scalpel and is then mounted onto watercolour paper. The picture is then hand-signed and numbered. The picture is supplied in a mount (as shown) but not in a frame.
This design is replicated, however, as each picture is individually cut there are small differences that make each an original artwork.
The mounted silhouette comes packaged with a backing board in a clear polypropylene bag, and a sticker is enclosed saying that it is a hand-cut silhouette, cut with a scalpel by John Speight. The sticker is for sticking on the back of the frame after framing.
Also enclosed is a flyer entitled "About Your Silhouette" which explains how my papercuts are made and tells a little about my family's papercutting history. 
 
IMPORTANT:
The pictures shown here are a sample of the design. The actual picture that you purchase may be a different papercut with a different number.
Unlike my usual work this papercut does not have a hand-tinted background and is signed on the actual picture rather than the mount. (The enclosed flyer describes my usual work).
I normally dispatch pictures within five working days.
